We are currently seeking an Instrument Operator to support our land surveying department. This position will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to gain experience in the surveying industry and the ability to grow into additional responsibilities within our firm. Functions and responsibilities of this position include:
- Working within a team environment, learning under the direction of a survey crew chief.
- Gain the ability to operate land survey equipment.
- Follow established industry and company standards to record measurements and collect survey data.
- Maintain neat and orderly field notes.
- Transport surveying instruments at jobs sites across varied terrain.
Qualifications for this position are:
- Field survey experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability and willingness to work and learn, collaboratively and cohesively within a team.
- Candidate should be hardworking, poses high character, and be detail oriented.
- Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass drug screening.
- Have the ability to occasionally travel regionally as needed.
- Possess a willingness to work outside full-time, and in various weather conditions.
