Summer Engineering Internship

We offer a wide range of services including structural, geo-structural, and civil engineering; surveying and mapping; and site planning and landscape architecture.

Our office is seeking an intern for the summer of 2024 in the following areas: Civil Engineering, Structural and Geo-structural Engineering.

Overview

As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with experienced engineers and land surveyors and contribute to various projects within the organization. This internship is designed to provide exposure to real-world engineering challenges and help you develop valuable skills in one or more engineering related disciplines.

Qualifications

  1. Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering or related field.
  2. Strong academic background with coursework in relevant engineering disciplines.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  5. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  7. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is beneficial.
  8. Availability to work full-time during the internship period.
  9. Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist teams in various tasks and duties.
  2. Assist engineers with research, development, and design of projects.
  3. Assist engineers with preparation of drawings and documents as assigned.
  4. Complete site visits to observe construction or gather field information for design.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned.
  6. Accept and apply direction from peers and supervisors.

This position will be open through the month of March.  After which, candidates will be evaluated and contacted for phone interviews.  The internship will be a full-time position starting in mid-May and concluding in mid-August.  Relocation and housing are not provided for this position.
